What is The Write Campaign?
The Write Campaign is a for-the-people company who provides customizable books and educational resources designed to help creators, entrepreneurs, and aspiring authors transform customizable books to personalized products that they can call their own.
How is a customizable book different from a traditional eBook?
A traditional eBook is generally purchased to read and consume. A customizable book is purchased with additional licensing rights that allow you to personalize and transform the content within the terms of your license.

Can I change the title, book cover, and interior design of a customizable book?
Yes. You can change the title, subtitle, cover, interior design, formatting, branding, examples, written content, graphics, and more. You have broad creative freedom to make the book fit your vision. Before commercially selling or distributing it, it’s highly recommended that you make a reasonable amount of meaningful, identifiable, customer-facing modifications.
Can I put my name on the book as the author?
Yes. Your license allows you to place your name on your customized version as the author. You may also add your business name, brand, logo, publisher or imprint, website, and other identifying information.
Keep in mind that identifying yourself as the author of your customized version does not transfer ownership of the copyright in our preexisting original material. You own the qualifying original material you independently create and add, while we retain ownership of our preexisting intellectual property.
Can I turn my customized book into a paperback or hardcover?
Yes. You can take your customized book beyond its original digital format and publish it as a paperback, hardcover, eBook, or other authorized finished format.
This gives you the flexibility to create a book that works with your publishing strategy, audience, and brand.
Can I sell the book after I customize it?
Yes. That’s one of the primary advantages of our commercially licensed customizable books.
Once you’ve made the required customer-facing modification, you can sell unlimited finished copies of your authorized customized book. There is no per-copy royalty or revenue share owed to us solely because you sell authorized copies.
Your license does not, however, allow you to resell our original master or editable files, transfer your license, or give your customers the right to customize, rebrand, sublicense, or resell our underlying licensed material.
Can I choose my own selling price?
Yes. You control the selling price of your authorized customized product.
You can determine the price that makes sense for your positioning, audience, sales strategy, expenses, and business model. We do not guarantee any particular level of sales, revenue, or profitability.
Where can I sell my customized book?
You can sell your authorized finished product through your own website, direct sales channels, third-party marketplaces, print-on-demand services, and other lawful sales platforms that permit your product.
You’ll be responsible for complying with the individual platform’s publishing, content, pricing, and seller requirements.
Can I create additional products or content around my customized book?
Yes. Your commercial license gives you broad adaptation rights.
You can use your authorized customized book as the foundation for additional resources such as audiobooks, workbooks, companion guides, courses, presentations, workshops, webinars, coaching materials, training programs, videos, membership content, articles, and other related products.
You can build products around your licensed content, but you cannot turn our underlying master product into your own licensing, PLR, master-resale, sublicensing, or customizable-product business.
